PSA: Don’t Worry About PTR Springs

Hey, everyone! John here. As a Pebble Time Round owner, I wanted to correct a common misconception regarding repairing it. You see, the PTR has a few springs around its chassis that slightly boost Bluetooth signal strength and are very easy to lose. Many people believe that this will severely decrease Bluetooth strength but it only reduces it by a few feet. Honestly, after using a PTR for months without the springs, I haven’t noticed any connection issues whatsoever. So, while they’re certainly good to have, if you lose your PTR’s springs, you don’t have anything to worry about. I know for a fact that I am not the only one who has had no issues using a Time Round without them, and I doubt you’ll even notice they’re gone if you lose them. Anyway, thanks for reading, and I hope this helps!

Anyway, with this face, you get the rather neat Laptopman character who proudly displays the time and battery level. It’s really cool. Check it out Circle-5-MOD remix This is easily one of the coolest Pebble faces available, at least for monochrome Pebbles. It has several dials that are sophisticated but still very readable. This one is easily one of my favorites, and it’s surprising it’s not more popular. Check it out Slide...
