Yo, Check Out These Rad OG Pebble Faces

Hey, all. John here. I met up with MiniMac today and we decided that it was time to make a new post, so here goes. These are some of the best Pebble faces for original Pebbles/Steels, but also can be used on some of the later models. Also, these are some of the more obscure faces out there, since I think we all know the famous ones pretty well. Anyway, let’s get into it!

Laptopman Face 2.0

To be clear, I actually made this face myself, so I might be a bit biased when calling this one of the best Pebble faces. Then again, this is 50% my blog so I can do what I want! Anyway, with this face, you get the rather neat Laptopman character who proudly displays the time and battery level. It’s really cool.

Circle-5-MOD remix

This is easily one of the coolest Pebble faces available, at least for monochrome Pebbles. It has several dials that are sophisticated but still very readable. This one is easily one of my favorites, and it’s surprising it’s not more popular.

SlideRules

This is another great face for monochrome Pebbles. It’s both interesting and very clean. You get the time, battery level, connection status, and date without it being overwhelming and cluttered. This one gets a lot of use from me.

Hop Picker Watch

This is another underrated essential. It looks great and works on every Pebble release, and it’s both clean and functional. Plus, it has plenty of customization options so you can make it your own. Seriously, try it out!

Consensus

To conclude, here’s a more traditional analog face that’s still quite useful. It has customizable complications, support for weather, battery level, date, and much more. All the while, it looks freaking awesome. Oh yeah, and it works with every Pebble!

So, that’s our roundup of somewhat obscure but 100% amazing Pebble faces. Seriously, I can’t recommend these enough. Anyway, that’s about all I have to say at the moment, so thanks for reading! As always, stay Pebblin’ my friends. (Not gonna lie, the alternatives absolutely suck.)

Editor's Picks: Our Top 5 Pebble Watch Faces

Hey, everyone! John here. One of the best parts of the Pebble experience is the wide variety of watch faces to choose from. From ultra minimal to highly complex, there's probably a watchface for just about everyone. While our picks are entirely subjective, here are our top 5 favorite faces: 5. 91 Dub Like the classic Casio digital watches? This face is based on these beloved devices and looks strikingly similar to them. It's not for everyone, but we think it's pretty neat! 4. TrekV3 If you're a fan of Star Trek , you'll love this face, and you still might even if you're not. Following the style of the futuristic LCARS operating system in The Next Generation , TrekV3 looks awesome and displays tons of helpful information at a glance. It's practical, it looks cool, but it is also a bit busy. Like the last one, it's certainly not for everyone, but we like it a lot. 3. Modern If you're a fan of more traditional watch faces, this o...

Signing Off

Hi, everyone! It’s the Pebble Pariahs, and we’re here to share some sad but perhaps unsurprising news. Essentially, this blog is going on hiatus indefinitely. There are many factors that have led to this, including failing devices, limited spare time, and those pesky narwhals in our basements. In all seriousness, though, we Pebble Pariahs are simply no longer able to keep this project going at the moment. While it is unlikely that this will happen in the foreseeable future, there is a chance that we may bring this back someday. We will still be around elsewhere, so consider this our signing off rather than our end. We would like to thank all of you for reading our posts, and we hope we’ve been able to help you on your Pebble journey. We’ll certainly continue to rock our Pebbles from time to time, and we hope you will, too!
