Editor's Picks: The Top Five Apps You Need!

Hello, all! It's Miniature Macintosh's first post! Sorry for the inactivity, I've been really busy lately. With that out of the way, I decided to do an "editor's picks" with the top five apps you need!

1. Rebble

No, I'm not talking about rebble.io; I mean Rebble. It's a charming little Reddit client for the Pebble, and I found it easy to use, intuitive, and heaps of fun! It's not bad if you don't feel like taking your phone out, although it is nowhere near the full Reddit experience. You can updoot, downdoot, and save. It can read posts and comments and in some cases load the images in black and white! The best part is, it's open source !

2. Bike+

If you're someone like me, and you do a lot of biking, then Bike+ is for you. You do need a companion app, however, once everything is installed it is great! The Pebble acts as a speedometer and timer, pulling data from your phone.

3. Pebtris

Tetris on your Pebble! It's a good time-killer, need I say more?

4. Misfit

Misfit is a great little health tracking app for Pebble. Its simple, easy to use, but also a huge battery drainer, since it needs to run in the background. Unfortunately, this app is somewhat broken, as Misfit shut it down a while ago. However, it still works well enough for step counting and sleep tracking, so it's a great app to use on earlier watches that lack the Pebble Health suite. Believe it or not, it is also the most popular app on the Rebble store!

5. Pebble Deliveries

Pebble Deliveries is a great little tracker for all of your packages. It's easy to use, handy, and open source!

Editor's Picks: Our Top 5 Pebble Watch Faces

Hey, everyone! John here. One of the best parts of the Pebble experience is the wide variety of watch faces to choose from. From ultra minimal to highly complex, there's probably a watchface for just about everyone. While our picks are entirely subjective, here are our top 5 favorite faces: 5. 91 Dub Like the classic Casio digital watches? This face is based on these beloved devices and looks strikingly similar to them. It's not for everyone, but we think it's pretty neat! 4. TrekV3 If you're a fan of Star Trek , you'll love this face, and you still might even if you're not. Following the style of the futuristic LCARS operating system in The Next Generation , TrekV3 looks awesome and displays tons of helpful information at a glance. It's practical, it looks cool, but it is also a bit busy. Like the last one, it's certainly not for everyone, but we like it a lot. 3. Yo, Check Out These Rad OG Pebble Faces

Hey, all. John here. I met up with MiniMac today and we decided that it was time to make a new post, so here goes. These are some of the best Pebble faces for original Pebbles/Steels, but also can be used on some of the later models. Also, these are some of the more obscure faces out there, since I think we all know the famous ones pretty well. Anyway, let’s get into it! Laptopman Face 2.0 To be clear, I actually made this face myself, so I might be a bit biased when calling this one of the best Pebble faces. Then again, this is 50% my blog so I can do what I want!
