MiniMac's reviews is a series I started for quick and to the point reviews. Today, I'm reviewing the Pebble 301 series!
The Pebble is a smartwatch from 2013 that was the most backed Kickstarter project at the time.
Features: E-paper display, 4-7 day battery life, Has an app store for watchfaces and apps that you can also dev for. Has no speaker/mic, just vibrates.
Pros: Unique, lovable, lasts forever, water resistant.
Cons: No touchscreen, b&w display, screen tear.
Final Thoughts: The Pebble smartwatch is great all around for its impressive battery life, quirky design, and minimalism.
YSK: The original servers were shut down, so you need rebble.io to patch it. It has a nasty screen tear issue, but it can sometimes be fixed by pressing hard on the screen.
